Dr. Jennifer Hebel, DVM, PhD
Dr. Hebel received her PhD in Anatomy and Neurobiology in 2003 and DVM in 2005 at Colorado State University. She has over 15 years combined experience training and treating working dogs. She was a handler and trainer with Search and Rescue Dogs of Colorado and a Captain in the United States Army Veterinary Corps. Dr. Hebel is a certified rehabilitation therapist through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and has completed the Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic Course. She has also studied Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and acupuncture at the Chi Institute. Dr. Hebel is currently taking a deeper dive into herbal medicine in a 2 year clinical herbalist program for humans. In her free time, Jen enjoys yoga, hiking and camping, gardening, making herbal medicines and reading historical fiction.
Dr. Grant Hebel, DVM, CVA
Dr. Grant Hebel received his DVM in 1995 at Kansas State University. In addition to clinical veterinary practice, he has served as a Major in the US Army Veterinary Corps with deployment to the Middle East in 2003. Dr. Hebel is a graduate of the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and of the Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic, receiving certification in both veterinary acupuncture and animal chiropractic. He enjoys treating all types of animals including small exotics. Grant is an Ironman triathlete and often spends his free time training for upcoming events.
Dr. Terri Jack, DVM
Terri Jack was born and raised in Omaha. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her DVM from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She is certified in acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). Additionally, she has completed training in Integrative Oncology as well as Hospice, Palliative, and End-of-Life care. Her special interests include Traditional Chinese Medicine, herbs and food to aid in healing from illness and cancer as well as preventative medicine. When she isn’t at work, she is enjoying time with her husband and children most likely hiking for participating in other outdoor activities.
Kim Buethe, LVT
Kim joined Five Elements in 2016 and is our Lead Veterinary Technician and New Client Coordinator. She brings nearly 20 years of experience to our practice. She is passionate about client education, animal advocacy, and customer service. Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, wildlife photography, activities at her church, and hiking with their dogs, Magnolia and Sam Jam.
Becca Harrison, LVT
Becca was born in Iowa. After graduating high school, she longed for a big city vibe and moved to Omaha, NE. she received her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Science at Iowa Western and has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2014. After working in general practice, she wanted a more “whole body” approach to wellness and joined Five Elements in 2020. She became certified in Animal Massage Therapy through the Northwest School of Animal Massage in 2021. She also enjoy’s reading, snuggling her pets and drinking coffee. She has two dogs, Chloe and Jake along with a cat, Loki.
